It will be 3 cars on eBay that catch my eye. Possibly not the best buys or the best examples of said cars out there, but ones that are attractive nonetheless and examples that I'd love to add to the garage.
Audi 80 1.4
http://ebay.eu/1v0HB4d
There's something faintly reassuring and familiar about an old Audi. My Grandad had an Audi 100 and hated it, but I'd be more than prepared to give it a go. It looks solid and sturdy, and even though this is clearly not the best example out there I wouldn't mind betting you could get a bit of a bargain on this. I also think it's quite attractive, in a boxy, dull way.
Renault 5 Auto
http://ebay.eu/1v0I06R
This F-Reg Renault 5 example is surprising in the fact that it has electric windows and power steering. It's a sweet little car, and of course likely to get rarer by the minute. This look a good sub £1000 example - it looks tidy and I wouldn't mind betting has a bit of life yet. Would probably want to replace that steering wheel, though.

Citroen AX Spree

Another diminutive little French offering, and this time a car I've always had a bit of a soft spot for. Of course, so many of us would want a little GTI version, but I think there's something quite humblingly basic about the non-PAS, bolt it together AX. Last of a breed of true tin can cars?
