The G Whiz certainly has its own merits. But for me it represents what people think and electric car is like. It's not desirable...and desirability is still, whatever anyone says, one of the biggest parts of car buying (otherwise why would this blog exist!?)

Many people don't believe that electric vehicles are capable of what Tesla have introduced to the world with the Model S. I think it's completely right that Tesla have headed straight to the executive market - change the old guard and it'll slowly filter through the ranks. One day, I genuinely believe a little of Tesla's philosophy will be in every car produced.
