Ford UK have recently announced the new Fiesta ST-3 - an improvement and updated ST with more kit as standard and more tech. It aims to act as a flagship for Ford, and targets those looking for a basic hot hatch but with some of the comforts you're likely to find in larger cars.
The new Fiesta ST3 builds on the specification of the ST-2 by adding desirable features including:
- Keyless entry
- Sony DAB radio/CD with navigation system
- Cruise control- Automatic headlights
- Rain sensing wipers
- Auto-dimming rear view mirror
- Power-fold door mirrors with puddle lamps
- Electronic automatic temperature control
The 1.6 EcoBoost engine is still working as the powerplant - producing a 0-62mph time of less than 7 seconds and a top speed of 139mph.
The Fiesta ST deserves its position as leader of the pack and the winner of many awards...it's a great car and any development in the range is worth noting.
